Established by Michael and Owen Shepherd in 2002, Kings Hill Cremations provides a personalised and supportive individual cremation service of the highest quality for all pets. Because we understand that losing your pet means the loss of a very special family member, our promise is to deliver a compassionate, honest and reliable service giving you complete peace of mind that your much-loved companion receives the dignified send off they deserve.
We pride ourselves in ensuring dignity and discretion as you say your final farewells, knowing how hard it is to say goodbye to someone who was your companion along the way.
Our promise to you is that we only ever conduct individual cremations and our guarantee is that every horse, pony or pet which is placed in our care is treated with the utmost respect all the way through the procedure.
Kings Hill cremations is an accredited member of the association of private pet cemeteries and crematoria (APPCC), having won the approval of independent inspectors under a strict inspection scheme designed to ensure your pet is treated with care and dignity in a professional setting.
Bringing Your Pet To Us
Upon arrival at Kings Hill, once we have discussed your requirements and taken the relevant details, you can view our extensive range of caskets, urns & keepsakes we have on display. You can then have some time to say your final farewell in the privacy of our reception.
Collection From Your Home Or Veterinary Practice
We understand that some people find it very difficult or not possible to transport their pet to us. Therefore, for a small fee, we offer a private and discreet collection service for your pet from either your home or veterinary practice.
Same Day Cremation Service
Same day cremations are available Monday to Friday at an extra cost of £50.00, we do however, request you make a morning appointment with us before 12pm for this service. Although we do not have facilities for you to wait on site whilst the cremation takes place, and we respect that some clients travel quite a distance to us, we are able to offer suggestions for local attractions for you until you return to us later that day.
Equine Collection & Cremation
Your horse or pony will be collected by our specially designed horse ambulance. Slip mats are always used for equine collections as this gives your horse or pony a very dignified and peaceful departure.
We are the only cremation company in the Midlands to specialise in bespoke, individual, equine collections and cremations tailored to your needs. Please note we do not take any Communal Horse Cremations.
